Crown d&b secured the refurbishment of the Construction Department Sustainable Technology learning workshops in a competitive traditional tender bid. Following the extensive strip out of the existing sub- divided space the transformation has created a series of booths that each focus on a form of energy saving technology. Students now have a state-of-the-art environment for hands-on learning in areas such as photovoltaics, air source heat pumps, car charging and battery storage systems.
Specialist nominated sub-contractors were engaged alongside Crown d&b’s own team during the summer recess to ensure that the works were successfully handed over for the start of the 2024 academic year.
