Guildford College
The refurbishment works of the Chemistry and Biology Teaching Laboratories on the third floor of Guildford College Tower were secured in a traditional tender bid process. Following the strip- out of the existing laboratories, the HVAC services were substantially upgraded to include new VRV air conditioning systems employing air source heat pump technology for maximum energy efficiency. New laboratory benching, suspended ceilings, doors, flooring, redecoration and replacement windows have transformed the student experience. In addition to the Laboratories the Prep Room, Chemical Store and Breakout Areas were uplifted. Works were carried out over the summer period and successfully completed in readiness for the new Autumn 2024 intake.
