Crown Thames Valley were contracted to fit-out a new “TechLink” collaborative flexible workspace for Microsoft at their UK Headquarters in Reading along with a suite of informal and formal meeting spaces. The works were carried out in occupied areas with the minimum of disruption and create dynamic social workplace environments.

Working in conjunction with Louis de Soissons Architects, Crown Interiors were engaged by Maserati GB to fit-out a new Technician training facility at their Slough head office location. A previously empty building has been transformed by the Crown team including the precise cutting of concrete slabs to accommodate flush Corghi lifting equipment imported from Italy . Mezzanine floors were installed under which modern Breakout and Conference Rooms were fitted out for sales and technician training environments.

Following Crown’s Cat A reinstatement and subdivision works on behalf of landlord, Northwood Investors, Crown were introduced to Broadband provider Toob who were looking to take one of the new office suites created by Crown’s Cat A works. Generally open plan, Crown were responsible for the full design and build, inspired by Toob’s dynamic marketing & corporate branding guidelines. With an exposed services design to the base build, all meeting rooms created required design and alterations to mechanical and electrical services. Crown provided Toob with all systems furniture from general open plan workstations to meeting room furniture and acoustic products.

In line with Reading’s location being number one in the UK for attracting start up Tech firms, Crown Interiors were approached by UBS and their Property Consultancy team to come up with a fully designed and furnished “plug & play” suite to enable a specific marketing campaign to target a ready-made tenant driven by the attraction of a fully purposed office space. Crown took full design & build responsibility of the project, through to furniture and joinery procurement and installation. This 5,000 sq ft project was completed in just 6 week.
